And the beat goes on for Kevin Hart, who’s maybe one of the busiest actors/comedians working right now. I’ve lost count of the number of projects he’s been attached to since the break-out success of Think Like A Man; Although, actually, maybe it started before that, with his stand-up comedy concert Laugh At My Pain, which also did some impressive damage at the box office, for a film of its ilk.

Since then it’s been one film and/or TV project after another.

Today’s Kevin Hart news comes courtesy of Warner Bros, as the studio has released a first trailer for a movie that Mr Hart co-stars in alongside veterans Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone, called Grudge Match, which centers on 2 retired boxers who get back in the ring to square off against each other.

Kevin Hart plays the fight promoter who gets both old men to return to the ring.

So what’re we talking about here? Stallone and De Niro reliving their Rocky and Raging Bull days, with Kevin Hart as a miniature Don King-type of promoter, maybe?

The WB film is directed by Peter Segal (director of several Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy movies combined), from a script penned by Doug Ellin (Entourage).

Billy Gerber and Mark Steven Johnson are producers.

Among other project Hart has coming to theaters in the next 12 to 18 months are Ride Along, which he stars in with Ice Cube, in a film that will see Hart play a high school security guard who is ready to get married, but must first survive a Training Day-like ride along experience with her tough cop brother, played by Ice Cube, who doesn’t want the marriage to happen and tries to scare Hart’s character away.

There’s also the remake of About Last Night, the sequel to Think Like A Man, his Real Husbands of Hollywood (which is a hit for BET), Chris Rock’s upcoming dramedy, Finally Famous, a currently-untitled Screen Gems/Miramax collaboration from first-timer Jeremy Garelickthat will see The Book Of Mormon‘s Josh Gad, co-starring with Hart, a Lionsgate/Codeblack project titled Quick & Easy (no plot details yet), and more…
