Some projects that I'm sure we'll be talking about in another year or more… repping Brazil, Egypt, South Africa and Rwanda, to name a few.

15 projects have been selected for Venice Biennale College, out of the 433 projects, from 77 countries.

Each team – composed of a director and a producer – will take part in the first 10-day workshop held in Venice in January 2013.

Biennale College is the brainchild of Biennale di Venezia, aimed at promoting new talents and offering them the opportunity to work closely with well-known professionals in order to make micro-budgeted films.

3 of these 15 projects will receive support for 150,000.00 Euro (almost $200,000) in order to make 3 feature-length films (all first or second projects for their directors) which will be presented at the 70th Venice International Film Festival in late 2013.

As for the remaining 12 projects, they will be recommended for other noteworthy global film labs.
