Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have announced that they will release the Anthony Hemingway-directed, George Lucas-produced Red Tails on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on May 22, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday.

As you'd expect, the disc is loaded with special features including the documentary Double Victory: The Tuskegee Airmen at War, along with profiles of the filmmakers and behind-the-scenes featurettes with George Lucas, Anthony Hemingway, Terence Blanchard, and the entire cast; plus dissecting all that "Movie Magic" with THX.

The Blu-ray™ and DVD will be available for an average retail price of $25.00 and $20.00 respectively.
