Kenya Moore and Nene Leakes may not have gotten along while they were co-stars on The Real Housewives of Atlanta but the two appear to be on the mend. With their relationship in a better place, Moore doesn’t think it’s a bad idea for Leakes to return.
Leakes’ infamously exited the show following the Season 12 virtual reunion. She accused the network and producers of phasing her out of the show and discriminating against her. Leakes also threw kabs at Bravo honcho, Andy Cohen. But now, Leakes had made it known that she’s open to returning as a peach holder.

Though Leakes and Moore have been longtime nemeses, Moore does give Leakes credit for putting the show on the map. She also says that in light of Leakes’ personal tragedy, a comeback would make for a good storyline.
“I do think that she has a very interesting story to tell now, especially with the unfortunate passing of her husband [Gregg Leakes],” Moore recently told Page Six.
“If it were up to her fans, they would say, ‘Absolutely yes, bring her back.’ She was a viable cast member for many, many years,” Moore added. “[She’s] one of the OGs and you can’t take that away from the franchise.”
Moore says that since supporting Leakes in the wake of her longtime husband’s Gregg death in September, the two remain amicable. “I think that we’re in a decent place,” Moore revealed. “I did go to Gregg’s repast and I did think that we had gotten to a place where we felt better about each other and the relationship.”

Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams both opted not to return this season. In their absence, several familiar faces are coming back, including Sheree Whitfield. Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross is also being featured on the show. Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Drew Sidora are reportedly returning to full-time roles. Moore says the group has completely changed.
“The dynamics have changed because personalities change, ladies change, the season changes from year to year. We have a new Housewife,’” Moore said. “The other ladies are definitely interesting. They’re bringing something different this season and I think that’s what the viewers really wanted, is to see something different from ‘RHOA’ and I think they’re going to get it. I’m excited about the new potential of this cast.”
