Candiace Dillard is sounding off on the drama taking place on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The show has been at the center of controversy in the wake of Jennie Nyguen’s firing due to her racist remarks and Mary Cosby’s shocking decision not to attend the reunion.

But Dillard isn’t mad about that. Instead, she’s mad that she feels Lisa Barlow is getting a pass for her verbal lashing about Meredith Marks. Dillard has been the subject of much backlash from RHOP fans for her own words to her co-stars.

Lisa Barlow goes in on Meredith Marks in a hot-mic moment

Barlow and Marks’ 10-year friendship is more than likely down the drain after Barlow was caught by producers spilling all kinds of hate and tea against the jewelry designer. After becoming frustrated by her belief that Marks doesn’t defend her against some of the women in the group, she stormed off and was caught on camera going on a tangent behind closed doors.

“Meredith can go f*ck herself," she said in part.

“I’m done with her. Cause I’m not a f*cking wh*re and I don’t cheat on my husband. Her and her dumb f*cking family that poses. Why don’t you own a house? Wait, you can’t. Cause your husband changes jobs every five minutes,” she said in part. “Fake Meredith is a piece of sh*t. ‘I have your back.’ I’m offended by that. F*ck you! That f*cking piece of sh*t garbage wh*re. I f*cking hate her. She’s a wh*re. She’s f*cked half of New York…she can go f*ck herself!”

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Marks said that Barlow is projecting. When asked why Barlow would stoop so low and what could have set her off to behave that way toward someone she calls a friend, Marks said that Barlow told her she was upset over a rumor that Marks made comments about the interior design of her home. The situation will also be addressed during the Season 2 reunion.

Candiace Dillard says Lisa Barlow of ‘RHOSLC’ gets preferential treatment

Barlow’s hot-mic moment is going down in history as one of the most explosive moments in Housewives history. Dillard has gotten tons of backlash for her antics and perceived antagonizing behavior on the show. But while she’s been blasted and Barlow has been praised as “iconic,” Dillard says race is the only explanation.

“She’s white. Black women can’t get angry,” she tweeted. “We’re vile and violent when we’re angry. White girls are always allowed the full scope of emotion. That was easy. Now, watch them justify her to tear me down some more. In 3, 2, 1…”

In a separate tweet she added:

“It’s actually triggering to see a white woman have the freedom to be angry, I’m triggered. Everything is triggering me. I’m taking a break.”
