The Shadow and Act Digital Filmmaker Showcase is back with Round 4.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about the Showcase, please click HERE for the original announcement and HERE for the official rules and submission guidelines.

Round 4 adds seven (7) new films to the Showcase line-up including Nick Of Time from Eric Haywood, who was chosen to participate in the 2012 Disney/ABC Television Writing Program, Enrico Parenti’s Zewdu, shot on location in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Matthew Frederick’s Full Circle, Student Emmy Award-winner Underground from Akil DuPont and Rashaad Ernesto Green’s Cuts.

These films will join popular entries carried over from prior rounds including Hug (Khary Jones), In The Wind (Martin Papazian), Men In Love (Keith Davis) and Loo$e Change (Mykwain Gainey).

Further, we welcome a new distribution partner, SnagFilms, who will stream all competing films on their site HERE and provide tools to allow us to syndicate competing films to partner sites and blogs, thereby greatly expanding our footprint across the web. Participating filmmakers can also look forward to having their films streamed on connected devices and platforms like the iPad, Roku, Boxee, Apple TV and Android mobile devices when SnagFilms re-launches on these later in the year.

Please click HERE to watch the films and vote for your favorites. You can only vote once, but you may choose more than one film when doing so.

Round 4 will end on July 13, 2012 and a winner will be announced shortly thereafter. So be sure to record your votes soon.

Good luck to all of our participating filmmakers!
