This is the first I'm hearing of this project; apparently, it's done with principal photography. Now you know…

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 19, 2012 — Overflow Entertainment and Vendetta Filmworks are proud to announce the completion of their psychological suspense thriller., "THE LAST LETTER", currently filmed in Los Angeles, CA June 4-17, 2012.

The elegant and striking Sharon Leal ("DREAM GIRLS", "WHY DID I GET MARRIED", "BOSTON PUBLIC") and handsomely talented Omari Hardwick ("THE A TEAM", "KICK ASS", "THE GUARDIAN", "SPARKLE") lead this powerful picture.

"THE LAST LETTER" tells the intriguing tale of Cathrine and Michael Wright who are married lovers in the purest sense, though Cathrine harbors a dark secret born of her ominous past. She suffers from a debilitating sleep disorder that blurs the line between her dream world and the real world. Michael carries the weight of the real world and is forced to find a way to reach Cathrine, helping to protect both his wife and their child.

During one of her most severe episodes, Cathrine unconsciously smothers her child and spirals downward to the point of no return.

Leal and Hardwick are joined by compelling and well-known cast-mates; Richard T. Jones ("TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNER CRONICLES", "WHY DID I GET MARRIED", "WHY DID I GET MARRIED TOO", "COLLATERAL"), Tatyana Ali ("LOVE THAT GIRL", "KISS THE GIRLS", "FRESH PRINCE OF BELL-AIRE), Lynn Whitfield ("STEPMOM", "THE JOSEPHINE BAKER STORY", "EVES BAYOU") and Gary Dourdan ("ALIEN: RESURRECTION", "PERFECT STRANGER" , "CSI") for this twisting and captivating drama not common to a predominately African-American cast.

"African American films have long been forced to live in a box and rarely allowed to tread in other genres such as psychological thrillers, horrors or suspense," says lead producer Paul D. Hannah. Produced by the powerful team of Overflow Entertainment's lead producer, director, and writer Paul D. Hannah, Vendetta Film Works' executive producer John Ewing III, and Sliver Lining Entertainment's producer Angela White, "THE LAST LETTER" is the first of many behind this talented group of filmmakers.

Additional collaborations to keep an eye out for in theaters and 2012 include: "THE CHEATERS CLUB", "COMEDY UNDERGROUND", and "THE LOVE SHACK".

Hannah and Ewing's highly successful feature film, "THE MARRIAGE CHRONICLES" is currently airing on BET.
