Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan is deepening his connections with ABC by bringing a new drama for the network. According to Deadline, the network is developing Completeness, a show hailing from writer Adam Stein, director James Griffiths and Strahan’s SMAC Entertainment.

Completeness reads as a high-concept sci-fi family drama. The description, as Deadline reports, is “This is Us meets Grey’s Anatomy meets Westworld (without robots).” The show revolves around a technology company that aims to give its clients what it feels is missing from their lives. “Whatever you need–a friend, a mother, a grandson, a husband–the Complete Company’s versatile facilitators can become it for you. The resulting relationships are more real than you’d expect, and sometimes way more complicated.” Stein will executive produce along with Strahan and SMAC Entertainment’s Thea Mann and Constance Schwartz. Griffiths will also direct Completeness as well as executive produce.

The drama is Strahan’s latest foothold in the world of entertainment at ABC. After moving from Live with Kelly to ABC’s Good Morning America, Strahan has also become the executive producer and host of the reboot of The $100,000 Pyramid. His production company has also been a part of other television and film projects for other networks and outlets, including HBO’s State of Play: Happiness, Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Sports, MTV’s Dogg After Dark, the Tribeca-screened sports documentary Play It Forward, and others.

Stein has worked on several high-profile shows, including Fox’s The Exorcist, CBS’ Under the Dome, TBS’ Final Space and FX’s Damages. Griffiths, like Strahan, also has an ABC connection. He has directed ABC’s newest drama A Million Little Things as well as several episodes of Black-ish and The Mayor.
