Michael B. Jordan is super busy both in front of — and behind the camera.

Now, the actor has set his feature directorial debut.

Endeavor Content has acquired the rights to David Barclay Moore’s novel The Stars Beneath Our Feet, and according to Deadline, it will be “developed as a vehicle” for Jordan’s feature debut.

Jordan will produce the film adaptation and the author will write the script and be executive producer.

It’s description: In the wake of his brother’s death, a young African American youth tries to steer a safe path through the projects in Harlem, aided by his imagination and the magic of Legos.

“Directing has been an area I’ve wanted to explore for some time now. The Stars Beneath Our Feet tells a story that really spoke to me, and I’m looking forward to jumping behind the camera. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some very smart and talented directors and it inspired me to take on this new challenge,” said Jordan.

Talk about busy — Jordan has Black Panther set for release in 2018, will also star in HBO’s Fahrenheit 451 and has more projects set up to star in, including Creed 2, a remake of A Bittersweet Life and the Ryan Coogler-helmed Wrong Answer.

Behind the camera, he’s also developing a coming-of-age drama with Moonlight writer Tarell Alvin McCraney for OWN, producing the animated movie called Super Day Care with the team behind Megamind, and producing the black family superhero drama Raising Deon at Netflix.
