The premiere date has been announced for Titans! It will be one of the first series to air exclusively on DC’s upcoming streaming service, DC Universe and debut on Friday, October 12.
The first season will have twelve episode and they will premiere weekly.
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.
Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Ryan Potter, Teagan Croft, Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly and Lindsey Gort star.
Anna Diop’s character, Starfire (also known as Koriand’r) “is an alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on Earth. A no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners stranger on our world, she has the ability to shoot energy bolts and fly. Searching for her place on Earth, she’ll come into contact with the Titans.”
Preorders are available now at DC Universe for the streaming service (which will also include comics with lots of other content like exclusive comic releases) for $74.99 annually or a $7.99 monthly subscription. If you sign up before launch with a pre-order, three months will be free. The app will be available for Android, iOS, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, as well as mobile and web.
