A film that made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival this year, although I didn’t get to see it while I was there… Zach Godshall’s Lord Byron, finally has a full trailer, although it’s still somewhat cryptic. Then again, it’s described as a “Tragicomic Mind Melter.“

The film continues to play the festival and screening series circuit, with planned dates at the Atlanta Film Festival, at the reRun Theater in Brooklyn, NY, and in Lafayette, Louisiana – all in the month of May.

Synopsis reads: Filled with a cast of eccentric characters, each pursuing dreams and missions of their own making, Lord Byron paints a kaleidoscopic portrait of the strange and lonely world of its title character, a middle-aged, late-20th century romantic who’s confused and torn about his own ambitions and desires.

So… expect something poetic and that revels in the artistic, intellectual, and social trends of what we call the Romantic era, during which the real Lord Byron existed – the latter half of the 18th century.
