That’s right… the film will be making its New York City premiere next month, at the Gen Art Film Festival, so here’s you opportunity to see it first.

The initial batch of tickets to the June 9th, 7:30PM screening sold out very quickly; but, thankfully, those tickets didn’t make up the entire available lot. So, if you wanted tickets but weren’t fast enough to beat the first rush, you now have another opportunity to get one, or two, or three…

I suggest you go there ASAP, in case this round sells out as well, because, as far as I know, after this batch sells, that’s it; no more tickets.

To purchase, click HERE; tickets are $25 each, which includes admission to an after-party. I’ll be there.

For those just joining us, Victoria Mahoney’s Yelling To The Sky is a film we first profiled in November 2009, and have written about it a number of times since then, including interviews with both director Mahoney (HERE and HERE for part 2) and star Zoë Kravitz (HERE), playing 17-year-old Sweetness O’Hara, who, determined to correct the mistakes of the past, takes control of her life, as her family falls apart.

Gabourey Sidibe co-stars, along with Tim Blake Nelson, Jason Clarke, Yolonda Ross, Shareeka Epps, and others.
