The completed film will finally be making its debut here on S&A soon; Rod Gailes OBC’s Soft Focus – the winner of the second Shadow And Act $3,000 Black Filmmaker Challenge.

Rod is currently in post-production, working on sound design at the moment, putting it all together for an eventual premiere on this site, as the 3rd challenge officially gets underway (submissions closed a couple of weeks ago, with winner #3 to be announced on or before the middle of November).

Rod has prepped a series of promo videos, as well as a teaser trailer for the film, which we’ll be sharing here in bits and pieces, leading up to the premiere.

Below, you’ll find the second of others to come; this one, about a minute long, features one of the film’s stars, actor Damion Omar Lee (the dude in the poster above), as he discusses his role as “Marcus” in Rod’s second Shadow And Act Black Filmmaker Challenge project.
