Here’s an exclusive teaser trailer for the short film Hoorah, a thriller directed and starring British actor Aml Ameen, who will next be seen this fall in Lee Daniels‘ The Butler playing a young Forest Whitaker, and in Olatunde Osunsanmi’s thriller Evidence, which Tambay updated you on a few days ago.

Hoorah, penned by Bruce Purnell and produced by Ameen’s company AmeenDream Entertainment, centers on a discharged military veteran who discovers his wife and best friend murdered when he arrives home. The vet, played by Ameen, realizes that the crime is not random upon further investigation.

Ameen has written and directed several short films, that have featured
in British Film Festivals. Hoorah, made for the American Film Festival
market, will be the first made for the U.S.
Starring an all British Cast in American roles. He has several feature films in development and is working on
his feature length directorial debut.
