For the second weekend in a row Think Like A Man was No.1 at the box office beating all comers inclduing The Five Year Engagement which was predicted to be No. 1 this weekend, but didn't fare any better than fifth place (Actually a very amusing film, but with a turn off title that no doubt hurt its performance)

The question is how will Man fare next weekend when it meets head on the full onslaught of the summer movies starting first with The Avengers (Yes I've seen it and yes it's that good and I'm not even one of those comic book geeks)

The film has already made $180 million overseas already and it's going to do, of course, gigantic business here. Erik Childress of EFilmCritic.com, who's has one of the best records on box office predictions  (He was dead right on the opening weekend numbers for Man),  has predicted a $150 million opening weekend for Avengers.

But if Man holds steady, then it could possibly do somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 million eventually. We'll have to wait and see
