Amber Rose is an open book, even with her son. The mother of two recently explained that she has spoken with her 9-year-old son, Sebastian, about her OnlyFans account. Sebastian is Rose’s son with her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa.
On Tuesday, Rose appeared on Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low with EmRata podcast. The two discussed misogyny, classism and the empowerment work her annual SlutWalk event is doing. Rose also spoke about her experience as a mom, explaining how she handled Sebastian asking about her line of work.
Around the 22:10 mark, Rose said that her son, fondly known as “Bash,” claimed that “someone told him that your mom is on OnlyFans.” The 39-year-old model/artist confirmed her internet work, stating, “It was the pandemic, I had to work.”
She added, “I had a whole conversation with him about it. I said that whoever told him that, their parents are ignorant because, obviously, he got it from his parents.”
Rose continued the conversation with complete transparency, ensuring that Sebastian understood this was how she made a living.
“When it comes to women, you have to let women do what they need to do to support their families,” she recalled telling him. She said her work on OnlyFans allowed him to attend private school, go on vacations and visit places like Six Flags.
Earlier in the show, Rose shared a moment that made her realize those words were now getting through to her son.
During a ride home, a school friend stated he “wouldn’t want a girl that has an OnlyFans.”
According to Rose, Sebastian responded, “Bro, you can’t say that. You have to let a woman do what she wants with her body. That’s not cool. You can’t do that.”
The proud mom admitted the moment made her emotional. “A tear rolled down my cheek. I was like, ‘That’s my f**king baby.’ I instilled that in him from birth.”

Rose attributes her son’s forward thinking to him being a “feminist from birth.”
She shared memories of a younger Sebastian understanding a period.
“Anytime I use the bathroom [since] my son was 2, 3 years old, he’ll be like, ‘Mommy, do you need a tampon? Do you need a pad, Mommy? I’ll go in a drawer and get it for you,'” she said. “I’ve told him about everything.”
She later stated she “desensitized” him to things early, like her OnlyFans account and even her past stripping, so he wouldn’t be shocked when he got older.
Rose gave the host some motherhood advice: “Don’t be scared.” She advised the fellow mother that if the kids “didn’t learn from you, they are going to learn from TikTok or Instagram.” She continued, “You’re famous. Your son, by the time he’s 5, is going to start Googling you and seeing everything.”
