A father has given his little girl one of the best gifts ever: representation.

Laurence "Sketch" Cheatham spent three months painting a picture of his daughter, Alyssa, as the Mona Lisa. He presented the piece to his little girl and posted her reaction on Facebook.

“That's me! Oh my gosh, I'm the Mona Lisa," she shouted. "[This is] so cool. Thank you. Oh my gosh. How did you do that?"

Cheatham was inspired to create the image after Alyssa expressed an interest in art.

Done painting ???? Now let’s get behind this concept. So the little girl in the paintings in my last post is my daughter, her name is Alyssa. She’s 9 years old and in recent years she expressed an interest in creating art. Her favorite things to draw includes portraits ( go figure ???? ). A few months ago she mentioned how she wanted to draw Mona Lisa and she expressed how nervous she was because of the detail it involves, but I encouraged her to try it anyway. Shortly after that conversation I began brainstorming unbeknownst to her, and this is what I came up with as a surprise. Little does she know this is just one of many ????. I’ve spent over 400 hours of painting this canvas over the last few months. Feels good to be back. #art #paintings #blackgirlmagic #monalisa #artist #painting #artwork #instaart #arts_help #artoftheday #artoftheday #art_spotlight #paint #create #artlife #artcollective #instaart #paintingoftheday @dope_black_art

He plans to do more recreations using his daughter’s image.

Cheatham is working on an image of Alyssa as famed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

Alyssa’s reaction to her dad’s surprise went viral. The video has over 114K views. In addition to painting his mini-me, Cheatham has done several portraits of popular celebrities. His subjects have included Whitney Houston, Dave Chappelle and Oprah Winfrey.

He even recreated this hilarious Cardi B moment from the Grammys.

What a talent.
