Cardi B has blessed the world with another amazing throwback post.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper wanted to participate in the 10-Year Challenge that's taking the internet by storm, so she posted a video of herself from high school. As the name suggests, the challenge tasks participants with posting a video or image of themselves ten years ago.
In her video, young Bardi wears a bright red catsuit with fishnet cut-outs as she lip-syncs to Lady Gaga’s hit single "Bad Romance."
Even though she was just a teenager, Cardi was already extra. She came onstage crawling and also did a few of Gaga’s trademark claw hands.
The regular schmegular girl from The Bronx even had backup dancers. It wasn’t the most bougie setup ever, but it is clear from the clip Belcalis Almanzar was made to be a star. Back when the footage originally hit Twitter in April, even Gaga herself couldn't get enough of it.

When Cardi visited her alma mater, Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and Technology, alongside CBS in December, she told current students about the encouragement she received from her teachers.
“My teachers always told me, like, ‘Why are you not focusing? Why are you not taking these things seriously? You’re so smart!’” Cardi said. “And even when I left school, there were kids, like, smarter than me, with better grades than me – and the teachers always told me, like, ‘You’re gonna go far.’ And I felt that.”
She tearfully admitted that life was difficult after she left school and she realized why her teachers did so much to push her to excel.
“After I left school, I’d really be thinking, like, ‘She was not lying. Like, this s**t is f**king hard,’” she said.
Still, the rapper told W Magazine she's now grateful for the discipline present throughout her upbringing.
Speaking with the magazine about how strict her mama was when she was a teen, Cardi said, “My mom tried to stop me from all of that. But I still did it. I joined a gang. If she had let me out as often as I wanted to, I probably would be dead or got my face cut up. Or been a teenage mom.”
