Beyoncé is doing her part to lift spirits while people are facing difficulties during the coronavirus crisis. The Grammy-winning artist appeared on ABC's "Disney Family Singalong" on Thursday singing a rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio.
According to CNN, Beyoncé and several artists took part in the at-home special, singing Disney songs from their homes. Ryan Seacrest hosted the show, which included performances by Ariana Grande, Josh Groban, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato and Michael Bublé.
Beyoncé started her performance by thanking healthcare workers.
"I'd like to dedicate this song to all of the healthcare workers who've been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe," she said. "We greatly appreciate you."
The "Lemonade" singer said she is "proud and honored to be a part of the Disney family and to help present the Disney Songbook Singalong in partnership with Feeding America."
She urged viewers to "hold on to your families tight."
"Please be safe, don't give up hope," the artist said. "We're going to get through this. I promise. God bless you."
