Burna Boy‘s song “Last Last” is climbing the charts, but his ex-girlfriend and alleged muse Stefflon Don recently isn’t a fan of some of the song’s lyrics.

Stephanie Victoria Allen, better known by Stefflon Don, recently sat down with TT Torrez on Hot 97 to discuss all things music, family and more.

In the interview, some exclusive tea was spilled when Torrez asked about the British Jamaican’s thoughts about her former relationship with ex-boyfriend and Nigerian music artist Burna Boy. His song “Last Last” has been in heavy rotation since his latest album, Love, Damini, which debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums, was released in July.

The single samples Toni Braxton‘s classic hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” which was released in February 2000.

According to the song’s lyrics, the Grammy award-winning singer seems to focus on a love interest that broke his heart terribly. When Torrez asked Stefflon Don if she believed “Last Last” was referring to their relationship, she shied away from answering, but eventually gave in.

“We were together for two and a half years,” she said shaking her head. “We had to move on.”

“Whatever you think is what it is!” she added.

Torrez then asked Stefflon Don what she thought when she first heard the record.

“He said something in there… I was like, ‘Boy that’s a lie!'” she replied. “You know… it’s whatever.”

The two became an item back in 2019 and their relationship grew a fanbase of its own.

When asked what she’s looking for in a partner now, the artist shared that she hasn’t dated anyone since the pair quietly split last year.

“So, I’ve been single. People don’t know we’ve actually been broken up for a year now,” she said. “Ummm, yeah. I haven’t dated since. Like no one… I haven’t even been out on a date.”

One of the reasons the “Hurtin’ Me” artist says she’s been single is because she is just focused on herself, family and her new music that’s on the way. Although she’s a hopeless romantic, she explained that dating takes away from the work she could be putting in in the studio.

“You know what it is? I have a problem. I’m just a lover,” she said. “I just love love. I’m a Sag, and I don’t know how to like go with a guy without thinking I’m going to marry [him]. I feel like I’m wasting my time. I’m busy, like… I could’ve been in the studio!”

Stefflon Don just released a new song with Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist Vybz Kartel. Fans can listen to the single, called “Amazing,” on all music platforms.
