Rapper Fivio Foreign has apologized to fans and said his body is “dealing with real issues” after he pulled out of Rolling Loud.

The New York native asked fans to pray for him after he could not perform at the Los Angeles edition of this year’s music festival.

In February, Fivio Foreign teased that he’d be at Rolling Loud LA with a tweet that read, “Rolling Loud LA” with the peep eyes emoji. His set was scheduled for March 2, but to his fans’ surprise, he didn’t show up — the first time the rapper missed a performance in his music career.

On March 4, he hopped on Twitter to share why he didn’t make it to LA in a tweet and made it clear that although it wasn’t an easy decision, it was the right one.

“Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me,” he wrote. “I ain’t make it. My first time missing a show and I feel so crazy about it but my body dealing with some real issues. Juss keep me in yah prayers & I’ll hit Tariq up to make it up,” the 32-year-old wrote.

Outside of the tweet, there was no additional context shared about what his health condition may be. However, the festival’s Twitter account and fans wished him a speedy recovery.

In December 2022, he dropped his new single “Sicc & Tired,” but has been quiet on the music front. However, fans don’t have to worry about waiting for new music from the Brooklyn artist because he confirmed in a quoted response to Meek Mill‘s tweet that he’s releasing new music in April with DJ Drama.
