A heartwarming reunion took place on Thursday when Offset welcomed his brother who returned home after spending 15 years in prison. The joyous meeting took place in a parking lot, where Offset waited for his brother to arrive in a car, then exchanged a warm embrace with his sibling in front of loved ones.

The Migos rapper went to social media to post a video of the emotional scene.

“15 years and he back,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories, according to Complex.

The artist also went back to Instagram Stories on Saturday to post videos of a special ceremony held for his brother. Dozens of loved ones surrounded the newly-freed man during the occasion and toasted to a new beginning. The young man can be seen smiling from ear to ear while enjoying the party with his mother, brothers and family members of various ages.

"My baby is home," his mother said during the occasion.

The family formed a huge circle in the room and dedicated a toast to their loved one.

"We are going to celebrate from here on. It's all positive from here, all the way up from here," they said. "We love you and we're toasting to you."

It's not clear why the young man was sent to prison. Offset was still a teenager when his brother was convicted. That was before his music career took off.

The rapper had another reason to celebrate in September when he and Cardi B welcomed their second child, a baby boy. He also gifted a new home to Cardi in October to celebrate her 29th birthday. The home is believed to be located in the Dominican Republic
