From the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue, the Christchurch Mosque shootings, to the Passover Poway attack, this year’s NewGround Professional Fellowship cohort has been bookended by tragedies. With these events as a backdrop, this year’s cohort decided to address mental health issues as part of their Change-Maker project.

This video explores the unique challenges Muslims and Jews face as we work to address mental health in our communities. As members of a religious minority, there are similarities we can learn from one another as we strive to meet our own needs and those we care about.

We hope this video will serve as the start of this important conversation.
