Clyde Edwards-Helaire had the game of a lifetime this weekend, helping Louisiana State University knock off the highly ranked Alabama team in a nail-biting matchup that went down to the last seconds.
Edwards-Helaire, the star running back for LSU, had two eye-opening runs helping LSU pull out the victory, and the internet fell in love with him even more after witnessing a heartfelt hug with his father.

The two men cried as they held each other after the game while exchanging words, but Twitter users took issue with another part of the video.
During the intimate moment between the father and son, a white hand repeatedly poked Edwards-Helaire in an attempt to rudely interrupt them. The unidentified woman held up a camera in their faces while repeatedly shouting Edwards-Helaire's jersey number.
The two men never acknowledge the woman's pestering — but Twitter users certainly did.

Wonderful image of a father & his son. That woman needs to check her entitlement & attempts to disrupt a bonding moment.

I’m so glad they ignored her. Because no offense but … ok I’m going to say it … black people are too damn polite most of the time.

Twitter folks questioned why the woman would try to get in the middle of a powerful moment after a crowning achievement.
Does this lady not realize he’s a little effing busy!?

What's most annoying about that entitled lady determined to impose on these men's moment is knowing her mentality never ends well for us: pic.twitter.com/qWIKeHdo4I

Her actions were repeatedly slammed for being inconsiderate in the most white privilege way.
White privilege means there is no moment in a black person’s life that’s too sacred not to be usurped by intrusion (no matter how trivial)

This man was literally having probably one of the most emotional moments of his life with his father of all people!! It’s disrespectful trying to break that up for a picture.????

The entitled white lady represents Div 1 college communities, the NCAA as whole and their “chattel” mentality toward black athletes

Edwards-Helaire, who was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, won SEC player of the week. The university, which has spent decades losing against Alabama, looks poised to make it to the championship game this season.
