If there's anything you can count on, it's that Mary J. Blige is going to serve her nieces and nephews her signature dance moves and auntie vibes.
The New York native has been known to get down on the stage during her performances with many of her fans often chanting "Go Mary! Go Mary!" While the singer is privy to people attempting to imitate her moves, she told Angie Martinez in a 2020 interview that “Everybody don’t do it right.”
“My s**t is swag my s**t is smooth. You know,” the singer said. “They be thinking they doing it, but I don’t dance like that, my s**t is swagged.”
Although we may not be able to hit the moves quite like she can, we have gathered up some images that capture Blige in her glory.
Blige certainly serves us dance moves, but she's also known to strike a pose, too.
In 2007 while performing at the Nokia Theater for her Mary J. Blige Experience Tour, the 50-year-old hit a pose with her hands up by her short pixie cut.
And you can't forget this pose of Blige pointing off into the crowd.
It seems that the "Real Love" singer really comes alive on stage when she's in her all white, but even more notable are her boots. Her best dance moves and performances typically include the Grammy-award-winning artist getting down on the stage in knee or thigh-high boots.
If you've been fortunate to see Blige in concert, you've probably also seen her throw her hands up while rocking to the beat.
She also isn't shy of kicking her leg up.
Blige has never been shy of hitting a bop while sharing the stage with Method Man for their joint single "All I Need." The two both got down during the 2003 "NFL Kickoff Live from the National Mall" in Washington D.C.
