Presidential candidates have failed to give encouraging answers in response to questions from voters about race and police brutality in our nation. This weekend, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley spoke at Netroots Nation. Both were interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters. Although they have faced criticism for their responses (or lack thereof), Wesley Lowery wanted to give Hillary Clinton, the other front-running democratic candidate, the chance to answer a question from the event via Facebook.
