Several fake news stories about Malia Obama are currently making the rounds online, Metro News reports.

One of the stories reports that Obama, currently studying at Harvard, has said that she is looking forward to the day when white people die off.

That story, posted on a Facebook page called  America's Last Line of Defense run by Christopher Blair, claims Obama specifically said, "White people are so 1960’s. Sometimes the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that they will be blended out by the time I am 30. Imagine a world without white people."

If users navigate to that page's "About Me" section, they will find a disclaimer that reads: "Nothing on this page is real. It is a collection of the satirical whimsies of liberal trolls masquerading as conservatives. You have been warned."

Mark Zuckerberg was taken to task by Congress this week for allowing stories such as these to spread as fake news. He told leaders "it's clear now that we didn't do enough" to stop fake news, and promised that his company would do better in the future.

Another site called Only Politics, has reported that Obama was suspended from Harvard "after racist anti-white attack goes viral." This is also not true.

The suspension story goes so far as to quote a fake dean from Harvard named Cain Markholder as saying, "This sort of attack against any race is uncalled for. Ms. Obama has been informed she is suspended pending an investigation into her statement."

Malia has also been accused of being the originator of the dangerous Tide Pod challenge, Business 2 Community reports. It appears that that story originated on the site The Daily World Update, which like the Only Politics story, features invented officials and made-up statements.

The Obamas have not responded to this sudden rash of stories, and Malia is busy living her best life, despite AOL News, and everyone else, trying to figure out if she has a boyfriend.
