Fargo, North Dakota resident Amber Hensley was fired from her job after her bigoted rant aimed at three Somalian Muslim women in a Walmart parking lot went viral.
Hensley threatened death upon three Somalian women identified as Rowda Royan, Sarah Hassan and Hassan’s sister, Leyla for being Muslim.
According to The Root, the company Hensley worked for, the public accountants Horab & Wentz, were made aware of the verbal altercation Wednesday, July 26, a day after the rant went viral. The company told BuzzFeed that Hensley "does not reflect the views of Horab & Wentz." And she was fired "effective immediately."
“Horab & Wentz does not agree with or support the statements expressed by Amber Hensley in the recently posted video,” the company stated.
The visceral video showed Hensley yelling at the three women because she thought the women parked too close to her car. "We’re gonna kill all of you…We’re gonna kill every one of you f**king Muslims,” she threatens in the clip. “Go home. Go home. … Why are you in our country? I’m an American; you’re not.”
One of the women made a threat to call authorities but Hensley recognized her privilege and replied: “Do you think the police care?”
Since the video going viral and Hensley losing her job, the three women and Hensley has reconciled their differences which have been documented in a Fargo Police Department Facebook post from Thursday.
“It was not a Christian-like thing to do AT ALL and wish I could take it back, but I lost my cool and I can't, she told local news outlet KVVR. "I am terribly sorry. I just wish that the whole video could be shown.”
