Someone at The Hill might be out of a job after they accidentally confused former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice with former National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

The publication used a picture of Condoleezza as the header for an article about Susan’s potential Senate run.

Susan Rice, who worked in the Obama White House, said she would give a Senate run “due consideration.” The statement followed a tweet confirming she'd be willing to attempt unseating Maine's Senator Susan Collins, according to The Washington Post.

"It’s a complicated political environment," Susan Rice said. "There are lots of good Democrats in the state of Maine. I will have to do a lot more homework before I make a decision.”

Collins sparked outrage when she voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. A group opposed to Kavanaugh's confirmation has raised over $3 million on CrowdPac that will go to the Democrat who challenges the Maine senator in 2020.

Twitter was just as pleased with The Hill as those donating to the anti-Collins fund were with the senator.

The Hill hasn’t apologized for the mistake but has swapped out the picture on the article.
