President Donald Trump on Sunday continued his attempt to mislabel members of the Democratic Congress and sparked yet another Twitter battle with New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC).

Since House Democrats launched an impeachment investigation against Trump, he has consistently tried to use the title "Do Nothing Democrats" to describe the group.

"Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, AOC, and the rest of the Democrats are not getting important legislation done, hence, the Do Nothing Democrats," Trump tweeted on Sunday. "USMCA, National Defense Authorization Act, Gun Safety, Prescription Drug Prices, & Infrastructure are dead in the water because of the Dems!"

Freshman Democrat Ocasio-Cortez responded by comparing her accomplishments while in Congress to that of Trump in the White House.

"In my first 11 months, I've cosponsored 339 pieces of legislation, authored 15, took on Big Pharma w/ my colleagues in hearings that brought PreP generic a year early & exposed abuse of power," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "In four years, you've jailed kids & made corruption the cause celebré. Try to keep up."

Ocasio-Cortez has long not been a fan of Trump, campaigning in 2016 for Senator Bernie Sanders and endorsing him again this past October. Trump, as usual, did not take Ocasio-Cortez's criticism lightly and warned Congressional Democrats of what he believes is to come.

"Democrats going back to their Districts for Thanksgiving are getting absolutely hammered by their constituents over the phony Impeachment Scam," Trump tweeted. "Republicans will have a great #2020 Election!"

Democrats have been pursuing an investigation of Trump over allegations he pushed for an investigation of the son of former Vice President Joe Biden by Ukraine.
