According to BBC Africa, at least 45 people were killed in a suicide attack in the Madagali, a city in northeast Nigeria, late last week.

The attack took place in a busy market when two women discharged their explosives.

Local government official Yusuf Muhammad told AFP the bombers were "disguised as customers, detonated their suicide belts at the section of the market selling grain and second-hand clothing,"

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the mass murder, many assume responsibility goes to Boko Haram, an Islamist militant group who has carried out numerous horrific attacks.
