In the Instagram video, the 45-year-old TV star and music icon said that launching a makeup line has long been a goal of hers.

“I wear lashes, I wear nails, I wear shadows, and this fell right in line into what I wanted to do with my makeup line,” she said. “I’ve been wanting to do one for a very long time and now it is finally here.”

Ranging from $12.50 to $16.95, Bold Beats offers six items: an eyeshadow palette, three false lash styles and two press-on nail sets; it’s a limited-edition collection.

“On the road over the years, I saw very little gender-neutral makeup,” she said in a press release. “I thought, why not develop a make-up line that’s for everyone โ€” for all gender orientations and skin tones?”

Fans celebrated Big Freedia’s latest business venture in the comments section.
