Bill Cosby’s first night in prison was reportedly a rough one.

A source at the Montgomery County courthouse said the disgraced comedian complained about the facility’s conditions during a phone call to his wife, Camille, Radar Online reports.

The witness said Cosby claimed he was “under siege,” and was upset the staff took some of his personal belongings.

“They took my cane, tie and shoelaces because they think I will harm myself,” Cosby allegedly said.

“He said he had a stale hotdog bun thrown at him and he fell down a few steps because he wasn’t being guided,” the source recalled.

Cosby spent the night in a solitary cell at a facility in Philadelphia. He will be transferred to SCI Phoenix, a maximum-security prison in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, according to USA Today.

Prison officials intend to integrate Cosby into the general population after they assess his needs.

"We are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure Mr. Cosby's safety and general welfare in our institution," Corrections Secretary John Wetzel said, according to KSHB. "The long-term goal is for him to be placed in the general population to receive the programming required during his incarceration."

The person said Cosby wanted his wife, who didn’t attend his sentencing, to exhaust their resources to get him out of prison.

“He told Camille, ‘Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone’ who could get him out as soon as possible,” the source claimed.
