Black hair is beautiful in its various unique ways.
What it is not, is a game.
We even have an entire series about black hair called Kitchen! Also…did we not learn from this?
There are a myriad of techniques involved in our haircare, and we certainly shouldn’t hire someone who is not well-versed in such techniques to tackle our tresses. And yet, there have been countless times when major media outlets or retailers have failed our sisters with the marvelous manes.
Oh yes, we have another one.
You may remember, Victoria’s Secret has chosen the gorgeous Zuri Tibby as a model for the bras in their PINK line:
And then that happened.
You see that? Do you see what they did to poor Zuri's hair?!
Always in formation, Black Twitter was not here for it and went in! Twitter user @ColourMeCrowned kicked it off in a post, which has since been deleted, but you know … screenshots are forever.
Her tweet spawned a frenzy of reactions ranging on a scale from "WTF?" to "No really, WTF????"

Disrespect. She probably could have done a better job herself. These stylists should be trained on all hair types, not just Becky straight.— stylefeen (@stylefeen) June 6, 2017
Tibby is perfection.
So, how do you taint her image by not laying those edges … a technique that literally everybody and they mama knows really brings the whole look together?! And also knows that if not done correctly, ruins the entire thing?!
Victoria’s Secret. Explain yourselves! Because it looks like the secret you’ve been holding is the lack of edge care!
