A star-studded game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers left the internet abuzz after an interaction among Jay-Z, his daughter, Blue Ivy and LeBron James

Before he walked off the court after the win, James made time for a quick chat with the father and daughter. However, it took some effort to make the starstruck 8-year-old speak up when she wanted to ask a favor from James.

"If you want it, you gotta tell him….You almost got it out. Yeah, just do it," Jay-Z told his daughter.

The 8-year-old then asked the All-Star for an autographed ball.

"You want a ball from me?" James said. "By the time you get out of school on Monday, you'll have it."

The conversation, which was heard on the broadcast, turned into a viral moment.

One Twitter user said "Blue's met countless celebrities including her own parents yet she's nervous around LeBron. Too cute."

Knowing James' tendency for generosity, some fans predicted that the little girl would get something extra special.

"Blue asked Bron for a ball? He’s about to deliver her something over the top and extra and I’m here for it," one Twitter user wrote.

"Really hard not to like LeBron," another person said.

Earlier this year, people came to defend Blue Ivy after a couple of journalists criticized the girl for her looks, as Blavity previously reported. After Sunday's heartwarming moment, people once again reminded Blue Ivy that she is beautiful.

"Everyone made fun of her and called her ugly but really she's adorable and quite humorous. How about we don't judge kids by how they look. And whatever 'problems' you have with Jay and Lebron need not be stated here. Take it elsewhere," one person wrote.

"She’s literally the cutest thing with these braids," another person added.

And there were many more compliments for Blue Ivy.

"She's so adorable, such a pretty young lady," one person said.

"She looks just like Beyonce with her hair done like that," another Twitter user said.

People also showed loved for Jay-Z.

"She knows her dad is famous, but I like how Jay-z made her responsible for asking for what she wanted. Good dad," one Twitter user said.

It's safe to say there were plenty of positive comments that drowned out the unnecessary and hateful comments which are still being made about an 8-year-old girl. And despite whatever the haters may be saying about her looks or her name, Blue Ivy definitely enjoyed her courtside seat on Sunday, proudly wearing a “Blue is my name” jacket.
