A member of the electronic duo, The Chainsmokers, has learned the hard way about kissing someone without their consent.
“T.I. just literally punched me in the face,” Taggart said. “We’re in a vibe and I, like, gave him a kiss on the cheek — it was totally my fault.”
In the TikTok video, Taggart is in the back of a vehicle with his bandmate, Alexander “Alex” Pall. As he continued, he said T.I. told him not to do that.

“He was like, ‘Don’t do that.’ And I was like, ‘OK.’ He pushed me off, and I was like, ‘Alright, my bad’… And he was like, ‘Alright, cool, we’re good.’ It was the weirdest interaction ever,” Taggart said.
The musician admitted that the punch was justified noting that the experience was “fully fine.”
“First of all, T.I. is fully in the right here. I was feeling the vibes way too hard and I kissed T.I. on the cheek. And he punched me in the face for it! It’s fully fine.”
The rapper replied to the allegation on Instagram and found the incident funny, having “nothing negative to say” about the band. T.I. even invited the band to talk about the interaction on his podcast, ExpediTIously.

‘Y’all literally keep me in some s**t,” T.I. laughed. “First of all, I love The Chainsmokers. Let’s just get that straight. I have nothing negative to say. I just had to work through some stuff and we worked through it. We got to a much better place.”
T.I. and Drew appear to have no hard feelings as long as he doesn’t kiss him again.
