Singer/songwriter Cindy Rainne shared the most adorable TikTok video of her singing Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody” with the help of her infant son and it is sending social media into a frenzy.

The video, posted on Aug. 30, shows Rainne and her son by the piano as she plays the song’s iconic melody. After the singer plays the melody’s introduction, her infant son lets out a coo similar to the one producer Timbaland used in the original song. Rainne laughs and goes onto sing the hit.

With nearly identical ad-libs to the ones the Timbaland included in the original, we must say, the singer’s baby boy absolutely understood the assignment. Viewers couldn’t get over how the casual rendition perfectly matches the 1998 hit. The adorable infant even put his own little regurgitated spin on the classic. Mom laughs, concluding the heartwarming clip.

The video made its way to Twitter, with many Twitter users sharing clever quips in the comments.

TikTok users had equally hilarious responses to the video.

For decades, there’s long been a mystery surrounding who or what was behind the cooing baby sounds that laced the popular Aaliyah track. Some rumors say the sounds were recorded from a doll. Other reports say it was an actual baby. We may never know the truth but what we do know is that we love happy babies singing at pianos.
