Sony Pictures’ second reboot of the Spider-Man franchise about the go into production “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is increasingly looking more interesting thanks to its casting choices. With Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Michael Keaton playing the villain, Sony is clearly going for a more diverse cast signing on Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori in supporting roles for the film.
Now it was announced that comedian Hannibal Buress will also join the cast of “Homecoming.” However as to what part he’ll play in the film that’s being kept under wraps as is the storyline.
Aside from his stand up work and TV guest appearances Buress, is best known for his work on shows like “30 Rock”, “The Eric Andre Show”, and Comedy Central’s “Broad City”. But Buress since 2009 has racked up an impressive number of film and TV roles over 40 credits to date including his film work in “Neighbors”, “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” and “Daddy’s Home” among other films and will soon be seen on the film version of “Baywatch” with Dwayne Johnson.
