It’s not easy being the daughter of a reality television star…at least according to The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG Cynthia Bailey’s daughter, Noelle Robinson.

Robinson has appeared on the show with Bailey since Season 3 when she was just 10 years old. At 21, Robinson is finding her own success, following in her supermodel mama’s footsteps with modeling gigs, as well as becoming a popular online influencer.

But as Robinson navigates young adulthood, she says being on the show has cost her certain opportunities, both professionally and socially. During a May 9 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Robinson discussed the difficulties in fitting in with her peers.

“It definitely made my experience a lot different and just a little bit harder for me socially,” she said. “I also feel like just not even in college people just assume that you are bougie or stuck up you know, and that’s just really not true.”

Furthermore, Robinson says that while trying to maintain employment while attending school, she was eventually fired because of her notoriety.

“I tried to get a job when I was in school and people were noticing me, and I actually got fired from the job because they were noticing me,” she recalls. “It was actually a job at Nobu. They’re like, we don’t want people noticing you at the job. That’s not what it’s about. And I was like, ‘Oh my god, okay.’”

It’s unclear if the hiring managers knew who Robinson was before hiring her. Though being fired stung, Robinson has been able to leverage her platform and break out into the modeling world.

Despite the ups and downs, fame does have its perks for the burgeoning model’s career.

She recently finished campaigns for Dove and Shea Moisture. She’s also a staple on YouTube with her own beauty and lifestyle vlogs.
