Prince Wasin, a 23-year old ex-prisoner living in London, recently opened a milkshake bar to defer young people from a life of crime.

Prince spent time in prison for driving offenses, but during his time there he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in international business and finance from Oxford Brookes University. He told the Kilburn Times that sitting in prison alone made him realize that “there’s a lot more to life than just hanging around with the wrong crowd and taking life for granted.”

Using both his savings and financial assistance from his family Wasin opened Milk Sheikh, which serves waffles, crepes, deserts and milkshakes. The shop is the only one of its kind in the area.

Wasin says that when school children come to the shop he tells them that “owning a business is cool” as many of them aspire to the glamorous lifestyle of rappers.

Congrats, Prince! Keep inspiring others.
