CBS has released new photos of Laz Alonso in his upcoming role on season 3 of Person of Interest, set to air this week. Alonso co-stars in the episode as Paul Carter, ex-husband of Jocelyn “Joss” Carter (Taraji P. Henson), who is in the middle of a “major life-and-death story arc.”

Clarke Peters (The Wire) is also said to play an integral role over the next three episodes as the head of HR, the crime organization that Carter is trying to take down.

The new episode airs this Tuesday, November 12.
