Vice President-elect Kamala Harris got a lot of love online thanks to a fun pair of socks that made an appearance in a video on Instagram

The video was shared by Harris' niece Meena on TikTok and Instagram.

She gave Harris a cup of peaches mints and a pun about this week's impeachment of President Donald Trump

But eagle-eyed social media followers honed in on Harris' socks, which said "The Future Is Female."

The post racked up more than 150,000 likes and 10 million views on both Instagram and TikTok.

The socks are from an online sock store called Gumball Poodle, according to Glamour.

On its website, the sock maker said that the video has caused a huge spike in demand for the socks and warned shoppers that shipping will take a few extra days.

"Have you heard? The Future is Female, and she’s ready to kick some serious ass. Worn by our very own Vice President Kamala Harris, These socks are great for all kinds of activities like STANDING up to patriarchy, KICKING through glass ceilings, and MARCHING forward to the future (which, by the way, is Female)," the website listed about the socks.

After Harris and President-elect Joe Biden were announced as the winners of the 2020 presidential election, Harris spoke about how her role as the first woman to serve as vice president was just the beginning of what women in the United States could accomplish politically.

“But while I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last,” she said.

“Because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities," she added. "And to the children of our country regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: Dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourselves in a way that others may not simply because they’ve never seen it before.”

Harris will be inaugurated on Jan. 20 as the first woman and first Black person to serve as vice president.
