Entrepreneur Princess Dior joined the Millionaire Mindsets podcast to share how to secure the bag. During her conversation with host Xavier Miller, Dior revealed that she brings home an extra $5,000 to $10,000 per month renting out her designer bags. Afterward, Twitter expressed some doubt and hate about her hustle.

In a clip of the interview, Dior explains that one of her friends asked if she could pay her to borrow a designer purse for a photo shoot.

“She gave me $200,” she said in the clip, adding that the transaction got her wheels turning.

“I can make this into a business,” she said.

She then “started reaching out to all the stylists, rappers, YouTubers, photographers that were shooting content.”

Dior told Miller that she started bringing home $5,000 to $10,000 per month from her designer bag rental side hustle.

The entrepreneur also recounted her biggest deal — a client who paid her $5,000 a day to rent a rare Hérmes bag.

While Dior’s story is impressive, Twitter wasn’t really buying it. Viewers were hating on the entrepreneur’s business plan, and poked holes in her strategy in the comments.

Lol well how much does a Hermes bag cost renting for 5 bands a day! She atleast had 2 days or she would have said she paid 5000 for 1 day. So that’s a minimum of 10,000 to borrow a bag and give it back? Lol even if the bag is 20,000 save your lil 5 bands and get your own,” one user wrote.

“What if they don’t give the bag back tho?” another asked.

One viewer wondered why stylists would opt to rent one of Dior’s pieces over securing a replica.

“Who needed authentic bags and designer wear for a video? That’s what quality replicas are for,” they tweeted.

Another user pointed out that her hustle isn’t unique.

“Ya’ll never heard of bag, borrow, or steal from Sex & The City yearssss ago?” they tweeted.

And one user even suggested the entrepreneur may be scamming folks.

“I believe that’s her hustle, but considering that she can’t pronounce Hermès correctly, I think she’s out here hustling folks,” another added.

Dior pinned the clip to her Instagram, urging her followers to try the hustle or something similar for themselves.

“‘You literally have a 6 figure business in your closet..’ sometimes you have to think outside the box,” she wrote in the caption.
