Actress Jada Pinkett Smith took to Instagram to share that she's laughing her way through her alopecia journey. 

“Y’all know I’ve been struggling with alopecia. Just all of sudden, one day. Look at this line right here, look at that,” she said. “Me and this alopecia are going to be friends … period.”

“Gon' be a little bit more difficult for me to hide so I thought I’d just share it so y’all not asking any questions. But you know momma’s gone put some rhinestones in there. I’m gone make me a lil crown,” she added. “That’s what momma gone do."

In 2018, she revealed on her popular Facebook series Red Table Talk that she was battling with alopecia, saying she had been getting a lot of questions about wearing her hair in a turban. 

"Well, I've been having issues with hair loss,” she said at the time, Allure reports. 

“It was terrifying when it first started. I was in the shower one day and then just handfuls of hair just in my hands … It was one of those times in my life that I was literally shaking with fear,” Smith said on her web series.

Along with the the clip shared on Tuesday, Smith wrote in the caption that she didn't want anyone to think she had "brain surgery or something.”

Back in July, Smith posed for a picture rocking a shaved head alongside her daughter, Willow, Page Six reports.

“Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT,” she said, "… my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed.”
