Fans recently rallied around comedienne Leslie Jones after she tweeted on Jan. 30 that she felt "like I might die alone." Jones is known for bringing joy, but in this post she opened her heart and a lot of people can relate to how she feels. After the post, Black Twitter quickly came in to show her some support.
Ok back to cardio. But confession I feel like I’m doing it for nothing. I know it not I’m healthy and look good but I really feel like “what’s it all for” if the people you want to notice don’t. I just feel like I might die alone. Sorry that’s pretty heavy today!! pic.twitter.com/Dla9RHD5EX

While she's grateful for the love from fans, Jones felt she needed to clarify her tweet so it wouldn't be misunderstood. On Friday, Feb. 2, Jones tweeted: "If there is anyone in the world who loves themselves that is me! It was just a single woman complaining post."
Wow y’all had a party with that post lmao. If there is anyone in the world who loves themselves that is me! It was just a single woman complaining post. Thanks for the love but I think y’all misunderstood . love everything about me just ready for a man to do the same. CHEAH!! pic.twitter.com/rBFwrtns09

Now that we have a full understanding, we still can't help but support Jones, because once again: we can relate.
I felt you immediately! Im 37, single, no kids, going thru #breastcancer treatments and surgeries with help of extended fam and friends but no one at home. Hard to keep borrowing others spouses to help with life and illness. ????

OMG….THIS is EXACTLY what I said. They read a bit too much into that. It was like recognize that just because someone is alone doesn't mean they are lonely. Just because they are saying they are not with someone RIGHT NOW doesn't mean they feel all hope is gone….simmer down!

He'll come along…. why wouldn't he? Just be ready when he does.

I'm sure you're gonna find someone who appreciates you sooner than you think.

Leslie, either way we feel you and we got you!
