In his own way, Lil Nas X was calling on men to stand for beautiful Black women.
Some picked up the baton being passed on by the "Old Town Road" rapper.

The "Old Town Road" singer announced that he's gay during Pride Month last year. In September, he hinted at a possible collaboration with SZA by sharing topless pictures of himself with the singer.
The artist commented on the possibility of a working relationship with SZA when he went undercover on social media to answer fans' questions in a video for GQ.
"Y'all down for a collab?" one fan asked.
"Of course," the rapper said, using his undercover account. "SZA, I'm gonna hit you up after this and we're gonna work on something."
The 20-year-old has provided plenty of entertainment on social media as he continues to increase his popularity.
In July, he trolled the homophobic population, saying "just got news that i’m gay and i will no longer be streaming my music. I’m sorry that s**t is just not ok."

In another tweet about saving the planet, he said: "why don’t we just put all the ocean water in a cup, clean out the bottom then pour it back?"
