In the digital age of information, we only wouldn't know something if we really didn't want to know something. When you go snooping, it's almost guaranteed that you'll find what it is you're looking for. One Texas television station went investigating white supremacist hate in their region, and what do you think they found? Much to their surprised dismay, they discovered a website linked to the newly-appointed Colbert, Oklahoma police chief.

According to KXII, after Southern Poverty Law published a "Hate Map" outlining hate groups all over the country following the events in Charlottesville, one reporter became curious. Rachel Knapp of KXII noticed a single hate group in the Texoma region and began investigating only to find the ISD Records, some janky little white supremacy website for an even jankier record label, had signed papers by Bart Asbrook — the man recently hired as Colbert's interim police chief. 

“We called Asbrook about that application last week. He denied he was the Bart Asbrook behind isdrecords.com,” KXII reported. “We searched for another Bart Alsbrook and couldn’t find another person with that name in the United States.”

The website was then taken offline within hours of the initial accusation. 

“When we called him back to ask him about it, Asbrook claimed a group of skinheads stole his wallet and began using his name after a fight at a heavy metal concert in the 1990’s,” KXII reported.

KXII noted that Asbrook was once charged with attempted murder, but the charge was later dropped. Asbrook is currently only certified as a reserve officer, which means he will be required to earn his peace officer certification within six months.

ISD records sell “Combat 18” patches, which are associated with the “Blood and Honour” skinhead movement. The ’18’ in the name is derived from the initials of Adolf Hitler. Their music includes “Hitler was Right” and “Start up the Panzers.”

As of yesterday, Asbrook said he will resign.

White Supremacists always have and always will have positions of power until we finally restructure this country. Seeing that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon, white supremacists will continue to get exposed and we will continue to enjoy watching. Although what's most important is that they get stripped of power which is hard to do when they have allies in high places.
