Our melaninated brilliance has reached peak levels. And now, thanks to Dr. Yaba Blay, there is a new digital movement to celebrate black women out here going to class, working their hustles and rocking unique styles, all while leaving a trail of fairy dust in their wake.
#ProfessionalBlackGirl is all about celebrating the swag of everyday black women.
More than just a hashtag, the #ProfessionalBlackGirl movement kicks off Friday, Sept. 9th with a video series featuring interviews from 17 black girls and women discussing culture and what it means to be a #ProfessionalBlackGirl.
