“One tall shaken iced Tazo tea please. Green. Sweetened”. This is what I ordered at Starbucks everyday before work.. And even though it’s one of the cheapest drink in the coffee shop ($1.50 plus tax), money can really add up over time.
Since I’m a budding herbalist, I decided to save money and create an alternative. Thus came along the sage peppermint refresher, an experiment gone so right. These two herbs compliment each other aesthetically and holistically. Sage is full of antioxidants such as rosmarinic acid, great for reducing inflammation in the mouth and throat. It also helps promote healthy hair sheen and reduces sweating. Peppermint is full of nutrients such as calcium, vitamin B1, and vitamin E. It aids in digestion, poor appetite and headaches.
