DeJ Loaf wants to help people get "Liberated."

The artist shared her plans to cover marriage license costs for people at New York City Hall on Friday, June 8, in an Instagram post this week.

The Detroit songstress then teased her new single with singer Leon Bridges, "Liberated," in another Instagram post.

Loaf explained that her decision to cover strangers' marriage costs came because she wants everyone to feel liberated and to remember that "love wins."

The rapper/singer has also called for people to share what makes them feel liberated using the hashtag #peoplegetliberated. Her website, peoplegetliberated.com, features videos of people around the world sharing what liberation means to them.

DeJ Loaf's new single "Liberated" will see its release on Friday, June 8.
